Resin Gel Time?

Hello,
New to the site, hopefully I can get some useful information here.
Been doing some testing for room temperature gel time for a product that we use.
When we perform a test on the same batch of material in two different tests we typically see a change from the first to second test of about 50%?

Just to let you know, we do monitor the temperature, water bath temp, velocity etc, so all seems within specification. We recieve the material via a tanker so when taken for inspection it is briefly exposed to the elements. We do not have any lab accredition.

Any ideas why the change between the two tests? We are doing it in a repeatable sense.

Thank you,

You do 2 different tests, you say. Can you describe your tests?

If you want to discuss things on the phone, you can also reach me on 06-10831915

remember correlation does not prove causation.

there are too many variables we could guess at for the next couple hours that could play a role in your results. bottom line, without seeing a video and you describing exactly what you tried to control between the two tests, guessing which variable or variables compromised the results would be an exercise in futility. i will wait for more information before i offer my opinion on what could be the root of your disparities.
