Hey guys, I was wonder If anyone of you worked out a method to get rid off white marks which appear in holes of opened air bubbles, after sanding peel ply side?
If I wont remove them and clearcoat it will look awfull:confused:

Fiberpro,
Great question! I’m sure others will jump in here and give you their tricks and tips…
Although I typically don’t come across your situation any more, I used to in the past and from what I remember, I washed the part with warm lightly soapy water and then while the piece is still wet, I would use high pressure shop air to blow the piece dry and thus cleaning out all of the little pin holes.
You may want to try (if you haven’t already) just using the high pressure shop air dry (no water applied). This may be better for some situations than using the warm slightly soapy water, but from what I remember, I used the warm water method in the past and it worked out well for my aesthetic panels.

I sometimes use Basco Pinhole filler. Works great.
just blow out with air line, most major paint companies sell what is known as a rag filler for short as it put on with a cloth.two pack usually. i use trimite AF 208 POLYURATHANE PASTE FILLER CLEAR, its a semi liquid filler and when lacquerd is not seen through the clear coat. just rub it in to fill up the pin holes and wipe off excess with acetone, once its in the hole it wont come out when wiping excess off. allow to cure then clearcoat, 1 tack coat/dustcoat allow to flash a second coat semi wet. when thats tacky 1 full wet coat just add a little more thinner to the last coat to give a smooth high gloss finnish, very rare i have to colour sand and re coat using a 2k clearcoat
