Removing Klean Klay From My Mould Question

Hey guys,
I’ve been lurking the forums for a while now and this is my first post. Anyway, I recently made a mould and used Klean Klay (modeling clay) to fill in holes in my plug. When I removed my mould, I have excess residue that is adhering to the mould. What is the best way to remove the clay from my mould? Simple soap and water? Acetone?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Soap and water with a toothbrush.

I use a wooden knife then wipe with lacquer thinner. Cleans right up.

Turpentine works the best.
