Reflective carbon fiber?

Anyone know if anyone stocks “reflective carbon fiber” other than composite envisions?

I would prefer ordering from another company based on a few previous experiences with composite envisions.

I’m looking for the red reflective fabric or something similar. If they had a white reflective type that would be PERFECT but I haven’t seen it in white.

I also tried to look for Composite.jp for their iridescent carbon but it looks like their site is down. Are they still around? Any other contact info?

I’m looking to make some things for my bike and want to do something different rather than the normal plain/twill weaves. I also have a sample pack of custom weave carbon from Fiberglast. Might go with “atomic” if I can’t find anything else.

I just noticed last week composites.jp was down!! I would like to see better shots of the unique stuff on composite envisions though. Because seriously, what makes it reflective?

I purchased samples of all their fabrics from composite envisions. (I had to purchase from their distributor who sells for them on ebay since no one will answer phones or reply to emails at their company…)The reflective fabrics have carbon and a very thin thread of silver line in one direction and colored material which looks like shiny plastic or could be a thin strip of anodized metal. Purely cosmetic as the silver and colored strips don’t give any structural support to the fabric.

They come in gold, blue, purple, red, silver, and green. I like the blue and purple the best but am looking for red since it will match the frame and logos on the bike.

Do you have a link to ebay

ebay seller’s ID is “elitecomposites”

I bought some stuff from Composite envisions. It’s a very very stiff fabric and not suitable at all for open moulding.

I have samples from BGF and this looks to be much softer and easier to use.

Aye! Barracuda is VERY drapable. I love it. It acts like a normal fabric.

Compositeevisions is also elitemotoring on ebay - they are one in the same. The customer service is almost non-existent and the shipping takes forever. Not sure what is going on with them or why they are still in business after all the problems. They have been moving their warehouse for many years. So I would recommend not to get involved with them at all. Check out the Better Buisiness Bureau for more details…
