nice parts for a nice car
Ah, I’ve been waiting for you to do something like this Pahanes. Could you put up a picture of the mould? I tried to make one once, but I found the draft angle on the sides and on the bolt holes in the corners meant that it was very difficult to release. But I didn’t want to make it a split mould so I could avoid parting lines. I don’t see any on yours, so I’d be interested to see what your mould looks like?
Ah, I see you didn’t use an OEM item. I can see some differences there, so they have obviously made their own mould for that. All good, thanks for posting that mate
Have a friend for a long time without the need to lay. Decided to make a copy of carbon fiber )))
I thing something to do:bigsmile:
looks good, but why did you leave the steel fixings in place? wont that look a bit funny if you do a wire tuck to the cam trigger but still have bumps for the mounts?
What steel fixings? The two on the left are for the turbos coolant pipe. And nobody does wire tucks on RB26’s.
nobody hanaldo? ive deleted the 2 on the left on alloy covers before for this exact reason. all im saying is that it is easy to add acouple of rivnuts to the same place but a right xxxx to get rid of the lumps if you are after a clean look.
Deleting the 2 on the left is fine if you are moving to braided coolant lines, but they have nothing to do with wire tucks.
its besides the point though. im not after a pissing contest, just an observation.
Mounts will be produced and will be covered with varnish. I’m still not finish.
