ran out of resin during mould build

hi guys
I was laying up the stabilising layer of the mould i was making and ran out of Gp PER 3/4 of the way through
i searched the shed knowing i had some vinyl ester but couldn’t find it, so the only thing i found was some black gel coat.
now its morning and it seems to have worked well but
my question is knowing that gel is PER with addatives
will i have a problem with this ?
i will be adding more layers of chop later

i would think this would be hard to see air under laminate??? also think it would be resin rich and brittle do to the thicker gell if it is a simple and small mold i dont think you would have any problems if it is large and a lot of angles requiring heavy prying to remove part the mold may not last as long

By stabizing layer…are you refering to the very first layer of reinforcement? Or later layers?

It sounds like it was all PER and you “Should” not have any problems…SHOULD
