Rained on my curing piece...... Now what?

I didn’t think it was going to rain last night, so I left my piece outside so it didn’t stink up the garage (and house). Well, it sprinkled on it and this morning, the very top of it is white.

This was the second coat on after a fully cured coat. I just wanted to add a little more strength to the piece before I finished it. It is PER and 8oz cloth. It was getting pretty hard (cured) before I went to bed. So it wasn’t still workable when it got wet.

What do I need to do? I have to use some bodyfiller on it and was just planning on letting it dry out and putting the PE bodyfiller on it. Do you think that is going to be fine?

Just stick it out into the sunlight and see if that helps to dry out those spots. If stil tacky, then another thin and hot layer will work too.

Thank you. The spots seemed to cure hard once it dried out, but created a couple air pockets. So I’ll cut those out and do a little repair on it.

But overall, it isn’t ruined.

I have been doing repair work to parts that come out of the mold dry, nice thing is a lot of this composites stuff can be repaired.
