I use a paste wax on my plugs usualy 8-12 coats this many usualy takes all day even with a fan blowing on it I have used a heat gun on small parts and it works great with just 2-3 coats but was wondering what every body else uses and what kind of time do you invest I never have parts stick with this method so i probably should leave good enough alone i read some where in here that they were waxing 1x every six months with daily turn boy would that be nice i get 2 - 10 parts depends on the mold
I use zyvax and we get good results. it is a semi permanent mold release. we take about half a day to clean , seal, and release a mold. then it gets used for weeks without re releasing it.

yes zyvax i’ve heard is a great release system. I wanted to try them out, but just haven’t yet.
we use freekote, it’s a loctite product. expensive, but well worth it when you waste time and parts if they don’t come out right.
The people that formulate Zyvax used to work at Freecote and formulated their system.
i just emailed JB to see if i could do a trial for him. we had talked about it at tampa last year, but i never got around to it. that’s good to know though FMI.
