McMaster Carr is where I get ours at…
airtech is our brand. they have several types.
Us Plastics Has Them As Well
All I can add is to not use the ones at Home Depot. They leak real slowly, but, a leak is a leak.
I just went down to National Aerospace Supply since they are in my area and they had the Quick Disconnect Couplings. They had the SafeWay S105-2 nipple and coupler for a price that was lower than some of the comparable nipple (tip) and coupler (body) as Grainer has available.
The coupler and nipple that I had before I got from Bondline Products was the Hansen 2-K16 which is compatible with the Parker H2-63.
The SafeWay S105-2 version I got today looks just slightly different than the Hansen 2-K16 in shape but it fits, but I’d not trust it so I won’t be mixing them.
FYI, the picture I’m attaching is from Grainger and is an AEROQUIP version that is interchangeable with the Hansen and the Parker couplings:
Riff42,
I did not check with Airtech before I orginally posted my need for a good price on couplings. But now that I’ve checked more it seems that all the prices are comparable. What is the make of your Airtech coupling?
I was hoping that there might be a cheaper price because I want to purchase about 4 more sets, but it appears that I’ll be spending about $47 for setting up each hose. At least with getting them from National Aerospace Supply I can pick them up direct and avoid the shipping cost.
But I did check with Airtech and found this:

I do know that the nipple of the ones that I originally got from Bondline (Hansen) are slightly different than the one from National Aerospace (SafeWay)and I tested them out and they fit each other but do leak slightly.
I’d be curious as to what maker is Airtech using.
Does air get past them when disconnecting under vacuum? Or do they close fast enough so that wouldn’t be a problem?
Yes you can disconnect and no vacuum loss. Both male and female fittings have a spring shut-off valve in them. For me it is to move the part to post cure and then reconnect vacuum.
I was just wishing the price was cheaper. But I think $7 for the male coupling and $14 for the female is about standard. Add about $6 a foot to that price for the most economical hose places like Airtech and National Aerospace sell.
