Pump recomendations for infusion?

I’m looking to start resin infusion in my parts. I’m going from strait wet layups directly to infusion, so no bagging experience :frowning:

However, I read the tutorial and found it very helpful.

James, any oil rotary vane pump that can pull < 100 microns

yeah, I have been using the robinair and works great, very well priced as well

Robinair is a good starter pump. The cost of a new robinair pump is cheaper than what it costs to just re-build the higher-end pumps. High end vacuum pumps include Welsch, Busch, Acatel… etc. The only thing is Robinair is not worth rebuilding so once it dies… well you just throw them out.
