I am aware that the sprayable PU foam does not stick to PE resin systems, however its cheap and can fill space very well can be carved etc. , is there a method in using this foam to create a support structure on the back of a mold to strengthen it and stop it from warping etc. To make ribs to be glassed over.
What can I use to seal the foam to glass over it to create a support skeleton/core/ribs, will the foam instantly dissolve when applying the resin? Do not have alot of resin to use for testing and really hate wasting material.
Another thing, if this PU spray foam will not stick to PE resin systems then in theory it can be used to make foam parts from PE molds by just spraying it in, and removing it without any release issues? Would be very good for making a core to sandwich in between glass, however does anyone know its reactability to the PE?
