Problems with Peeling in Hot/Cold weather

What other methods can I use to stop the carbon fiber from peeling when the weather get to HOT/COLD when wrapping metal or plastic parts. I’m using Expoy resin. I do know about drilling holes first so the resin will go throught the holes and act like rivets. Just seeing if you guys got any other methods.

It is the different expansion rates you are dealing with. maybe a thicker overlaying?
