Hi Guys,
I have been laminating with glass and epoxy and thereafter vacuum. The result is not satisfactory there the glass has a “frosty and brittle” appearance. Its realative easy to delaminate the layers. What could this be? Type of glass? To early vacuum? Like to hear from you!

What kind of glass are you using? I’m guessing you’re bagging the layup? What is your layup? Wich epoxy are you using? Vacuüm times are in the datasheet with most epoxy’s.
Curing for how long at what temperature?

Can you elaborate on your process and materials? Things are hard to guess this way.
Brittle can mean the epoxy needs a thorough postcure, but frosty might mean that the laminate is resin-starved. Wet bagging only needs moderate vacuum, especially with thinner resins, longer cure times, more porous perforated film, etc.
