Below is a pic of the problem i have to solve. let’s talk about the plug. I have a solution to put a flange at 180 deg of the outside face and later lam the inside for the 3 inner mounting points, but that doesn’t allow for the cloth of the outside face to fit all the way to the edge because the flanges will be snugly against the outside face edge. I thought about putting a 1/4’ wide and 1/8’ think piece of clay where the flange meets the outside face to give some room for the cloth to lay down that would of course be later cut in post lam finishing. any past posts, any ideas to make this part perfectly a replica.
