PrePreg carbon fiber.....

I got a roll of old (not for stucture parts, but to practice and play with it) Prepreg carbon fiber donated and I cut it up for the classroom use, but school ended last Tuesday.

Only thing, I ended up with 8’ er’s of maybe 5" or 6" scraps. I have it frozen but if anyone in the USA (ok, maybe overseas with an added shipping costs) wants to play with this OLD PrePreg, just pay for the shipping and I’ll send you a roll of it to play and make test panels. Just don’t be in a hurry to get it (or I’ll Air mail it at that cost) and I’ll ship them with my other shipments from my business or EBAY.

Please, just PM me your complete address and I’ll figure the cost out for you…JM

Just make sure you pack it in ice and ship it as fast as possible or there won’t be much playing with the prepreg.

It is old but I let a sample lay out for several days and I still was able to bag it and oven cure it to perfection. I got some cool clipboards!

Again not for aerospace or structual parts, but to test and try it out. For small test panels, get a working thrift shop toaster oven for the oven.

I might even make a bunch of single layer sheets to cut them up and make business cards out of them! Routers easy but I would like to add a vacuum system to collect the carbon dust.
