Posting on old threads

Seems like a few new members are hesitant to post on old threads but in short don’t be.

It’s much better to have all the information in one consolidated thread than to ask the same question five times in six different threads. It’s great that you’re actually going back and reading all the info rather than just posting a quick new topic. So if you see a relevant thread feel free to post in it no matter how old it is. The information is still good.

You are so right. On many forum you get killed when kicking an old thread, even when posting relevant info. Most of the time the argument is “the topicstarter has already been helped”. However, do not forget the visitors coming here through a search engine. It is a great plus if they get the complete story, even if the thread spans a long period of time.
