Post curing VE resin

What shoudl I know about Post curing VE resins?

The goal here is to minimize print through and my assumption is if I don’t post cure the part before clear coat, the resin will continue to crosslink and change as it bakes in the sun, resulting in print through.

If I do post cure before clear coat, the crosslinking should be completed and help prevent print through unless the resin’s TG is exceeded.

That brings me to my other question. Right now I’m post curing a part at 140. The HDT of this resin is 187. If I post cure at 140 for an hour. That does help the crosslinking correct?

If I’m wrong, please do correct me :).

I’m using CoREZYN MVR8071 Infusin Resin. Its a pre-promoted, non-thixotropic vinyle ester/polyester resin blend.

VE doesn’t really need a postcure. I don’t know about your resin “blend” though. What’s in the datasheet?
Postcure to 10 degrees below your Tg. max ramp 10 degrees/hour, 1 degree in mould/ minute. Watch the heat up of your tooling and products with core materials. And dwell at the final needed temp for an hour or 5.
Rough parameters, most resin have a more specific cure cycle.
