How do you avoid porosity in the epoxy when you layer on the epoxy prior to clearcoating?

How do you avoid porosity in the epoxy when you layer on the epoxy prior to clearcoating?

Don’t stir too vigorously when you’re mixing the resin. Heat it up a little bit and that’ll help the bubbles rise to the top. Once you apply, take a portable torch and flame kiss the surface to pop out all the tiny bubbles that you can’t see.

That would be most ideal. But not everyone has a vacuum pump and a chamber laying around.
