Peel Ply for Bonding

Hello,

I make prepreg carbon hydrofoils and I am currently keying up the surfaces with 80sand paper before gluing them together.

Has any used bonding peel ply like DIATEX 1500EV6 or similar? Would save some sanding.

I only use peelply for bonding, best you can do.

Any peel ply, or is it specific for bonding?

Best is peelply and sandblasting :slight_smile: Then you’d have micro AND macro mechanical locking!! But yeah, get a good peelply, and that should help you avoid sanding.

Thanks, I found some Diatex peel ply will try it this week.
