ordering list. Am i missing anything?

Just wandering if you can spot if im missing anything?

Mould

Gelcoat + pigment
fibreglass (csm)
poly resin + hardner

Part

Topcoat
carbonfibre
Expoxy resin + hardener

The only reason im asking this is because im unsure about the gelcoat and topcoat.
gelcoat is the stuff thats meant to be on the mould and the topcoat is the finish layer on the part (right?)

Im pretty sure im right but just thought id double check (please shoot me down and jump on me if im wrong, i need to know because of ordering more stuff today - well 7 hours time)

make sure you have some sort of mold release agent… pva and wax or the semi permanent mold release

Thanks your a star (should have said id got those from the last lot - my fault sorry - I didnt order all this stuff last time so ive got nothing previous to go by)

i take it from your answer that i was right about the gelcoat and topcoat, or would you use something else.

you will need some kind of filler for the edges when you are building the mold,as seen here- http://www.cstsales.com/HTFiberglassMold.htm

The top coat is a clear or pigmented gel coat that you scray into the mold first.
The gel used for the mold is a tooling gel or you can use other casting resins also.

listed in order of use

mold

release agent
tooling gel (i use black)
fiberglass filler
fiberglass cloth
resin
fiberglass mat
resin
fiberglass cloth
resin
fiberglass filler

part

release agent
clear gel
carbon
resin
fiberglass
pull part then finish with topcoat.
