I made these rear light clusters for the Noble M12 / M400 and they are proving very popular over here. Took ages to get the moulds right with the right depths / angles for the recesses.
Probably my camera work doesn’t do them justice !!

I’m in the UK and am a few months into creating Carbon parts. I’m afraid I’ll never be able to afford a Noble so have to get my kicks from sportsbikes instead. So far I’ve reoaired a scrap fairing with fibreglass, made a mould and used it to create a carbon/kevlar dash unit, half way through some air induction pipes and then next project is to create moulds for some frame protectors.
I’d like to get to the stage where I can sell a few parts just to cover the cost of materials and a bit more in order to do some more experimenting.
Where do you buy your supplies from?, I’ve used a few places so far www.polyfibre.co.uk www.resin-supplies.co.uk and I’ve also bought 10 meters of cloth from a guy on ebay. I didn’t look too closely (or didn’t understand what the numbers meant) at the description though and ended up with 385gsm 2x2 twill which has a much bigger pattern than I’m used to but it was £17 a square meter so I was a bit blinded by the bargain price.
Perhaps we can get a few of us to club together buying supplies and negotiate a discount somewhere.

I offered a guy over there to be our forum rep from over the pond area and I sent him many composites trade source and Int’l buyers giudes but I have not seen Mikey on here…
Anyone want to help us from over there and others in your area? But you will need to help with answers and questions of suppliers over there as we don’t have the time to look them up and tp post them too.
