Ok… call me cheap or whatever but i was thinking about a way to make fiberglass rear fenders for my 1972 datsun 240z. One problem, my left side fender has some dents right on the lip so fixing them is a problem. but if I do a layup on my right side rear fender could I use both sides of the “mold” to make both rear fenders?
try to mount you right fender at the left side:nuts:
Nevermind I can’t explain it right.
On some car models you could try mounting the right-rear fender on the front-left place…
But I see no simple way to create left and right from 1 mould, except if it is a very simple shape.
Are you asking if you can make a mold of the wheel well area on one side and transplant it onto the other side? Do a mesaurement of both sides and see if your measurements align.
