I just sold an oiled vacuum pump to REZCAR (he came by to help unload a BIG U-haul truck with me when I was dead on my feet after moving out of the classroom) what I paid for it ($76.00) and I had picked it up in Irwindale near the speedway (where I used to Nascar race at…).
I thought they had drain the oil out as it is a hazdous material for transporting these days in Calif. :rolleyes:, but he found that there was junk plugging the drain port. A tig wire to clean it out, drain the oil and flush with some paint thinner, added fresh oil and pulls 30 inches easily!
