Hi All,

Just a somewhat belated introduction, being I joined in 2012. However I now have a little bit of time to pursue some of my hobbies which is engineering and building stuff mainly associated with remote controls and generally flying :slight_smile: Have a little machine shop that is well equipped to make molds and other fun stuff relating to composites.

what’s your next project?

I also have been doing some tinkering with rc stuff. The electronics now a days make it so easy to get into the hobby.

Hi Sammy,

Yes I get a lot of enjoyment building stuff … currently working on building a small autoclave to do composite parts. But on the RC side have the following on the build table:

  • FPV Zepher wing
  • FPV Monster truck (for access into places you wouldn’t normally go)
  • A few gliders including a Jart

Also in the process of building an RC trailer so doing a little bit of CNC machining making panels etc.

What type of RC are you into ?

Sounds like you got some cool things your making.

Why an autoclave? Isn’t that a bit much for RC? :slight_smile:

I’ve just scratched the surface of the quadcopter phenomenon. Seemed like it’d be a fun hobby so I just jumped in!

Hi Sammy,

Yes the Autoclave is quite a bit of over kill, but I had an opportunity so I took it. It will just hopefully push my composites skills to the next level. Good luck with the quad’s they are good fun.
