Got some new data sheets from prf composite also sent me info on fibertex products, they have a material that includes breather mesh peel ply in one material, has any one used this, from an infusion point this looks very interesting.
Yes, it works great. Peels very easily, and the attached breather or infusion mesh works well. They now have a new infusion mesh which is some 25% faster for use of larger projects, and which is called RF3
Thanks Herman.
This sounds like Infuply which I use. I’ve never used anything else so I can’t comment on any advantages of it over normal infusion mesh, but it does release extremely easily.

(I hope it’s ok to post links)
The Fibertex material is different in that respect that no perforated film is used. The basis of the material is a felt-like material, very porous for resin, but once cured it peels from the resin very easily.
The advantage is that no islands form when infusing. A very open perf film has an open area of 0,9% (P, P1) up to 2,8% MP22 by Airtech) but this stuff probably is more than 10% open.
They also have a SB version (secondary bonding, for a peelply surface.)
Thanks for the explanation, I’ll order some and see what it can do for me.
Please report back, I am sure you like it.
^ Is this stuff available in North America, I called around to some of my suppliers, they never heard of it…Can’t seem to find it with a search warrant - lol
I wouldn’t mind trying it out…if any North American’s know a source please advise - thanks
Send a mail to Jan Falden at Fibertex (www.fibertex.dk) and ask him.
