great material but for using as a base for plugs!
i found a box of fake wood floor planks,we call it lino, self adhesive on one side, slightly flexible and easy to cut/drill.my plugs had studs on the rear so i just poked these thru the board, the adhesive is very strong but with the studs it helped the board to bend to the slight curves n the plug then i just stuck alu tape over any exposed adhesive and clayed up the gaps, very easy!
Interesting. Seems like it would only work well with relatively flat plugs. I’ll see if I can find that stuff to give it a try. Thanks for the info.
