Hello all, I’m just now getting into the carbon/composites world. I’m a mechanical engineering student and huge gear head. So, I thought having a good understanding of composites and the process that goes into making objects from them would be a great skill set to have for any future careers. I also would be really interested in trying to make some carbon parts (seat, cowl hood, fenders, bumper, and eventually full one piece front) for my 94 mustang drag car. I know I’m a long way off from even making my first horrible looking piece much less a full usable part, but I’m eager and willing to learn. I’m hopefully going to get some materials to start trying to make my first plugs/molds and then start looking into the best way for me to get into making my first carbon pieces. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some really good advice and learn some good stuff from the people on here!
