Hello everyone, my name is Billy. I am new to composites. I manage a body/refinishing shop here in the area. I want to get started in manufacturing(use the term loosely for my own parts) carbon auto pieces for my projects. I look forward to any help and guidance I receive from the experienced parties on the forum. My first t projects will be to veneer some dash pieces in carbon. I figured this would be a good place to start. Any recommendations on products to use and production practices would be appreciated. I thank you in advance

I’ve done a bit of that sort of thing. Spray tack is very helpful. I also vacuum bagged the parts after applying the resin. Then sanding and more resin… finally polyurethane paint and polish. not the most efficient method, but comes out looking very nice.
