Need a cheap vacuum pump for small parts

Hi, i’m new to this forum and carbon fiber in general. I started doing some tests with this material using an old hoover but i soon realized it wasn’t a good thing :wink:
So i’m looking for a vacuum pump for really small parts…let’s say max 20x20cm (8x8in). I searched a bit on google but i’m not sure what to choose, can you help me?

If it needs to be cheap, go for the cheapest rotary vane pump.

You can buy a harbor freight special for under $100 (not sure about in italy), or check ebay. I got a small lab type pump on ebay for cheap.

Thank you but i think a found an old one and looks like it’s working but i’m having some problems closing the vacuum bag.
