Wondering if mylar would stick to epoxy? If not then could it be used as a mold release on flat or slightly curved surfaces?
Mylar will definately stick to epoxy if there is not somesort for release agent applied to it. I learned this the hard way a monthor so back:(

we have used it on our race car wings.we buy cores from flying wings.wrap the core with 5 plies of glass.wrap the mylar around the outside then place it in the beds of the wing core.bag the whole thing.then cure it in the oven.never had a problem with it releasing from the wing.
