After ruining a few FG plates I ended up successfully infusing a FG plate and today I attemped it with CF. Worked out well, the resin is still a tad to thick, but with some heat its working out better.
I posted some pic let me know what you think. Im assuming a coat of clear would give the CF a more “3d” look.
Nice! That’s how it is done: start on simple flat plates to learn the process and move up from there!

Learning to infuse is not cheap … Glad to see the parts came out well, time to move onto making a mold and attemping that.
Perfect, and yes a coat of clear will bring the carbon to life. Saying that some people like the natural matt finish, i look forward to seeing your first mold project.
