Hi guys, these are some of my latest works, molds and carbon kevlar fuel tanks for Aprilia motorbikes,
I made molds with fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin and
I made the tanks by infusion with 4 layers of cloth and epoxy resin used for industrial wind turbine, and then inside coated with special antifuel epoxy.
I’m now developing a different method for place the dry fabric into complex shape as tanks or rear tail to reduce the time involved in this step.
Perfect work! Thats not an easy part, and very well draped fabrics

they look really stunning!, can you tell me if you made a mold from the original fuel tanks? i’m a total newbie to all this, but am very much interested in one day making my own fuel tanks and fairings…
