Motorcycle side cover pieces(Newb)

I’m a newb at all composites so bare with me.
I’m researching google like crazy, and still not really sure how to word things to find what I’m looking for.
I’m also searching for the temps the motor reaches so I know what resins to get, so I hoping someone here could point me in the right direction.
Trying to make so carbon fiber parts that will be on the outside of the v twin side covers. So really not sure how to take on this task. I know need to make some molds of the items. Not too sure about where to go from there. Prepreg, autoclave, or just wet lay ups with a vacuum bagging. I more than likely as far as my research has gotten me will not be able to autoclave anything.

Later on when I’m close to being done with the project I will be skinning a fiberglass tank in some Kevlar and carbon fiber. That’s another day.

Thanks

Just take a hand held pyrometer and measure the actual temp of the engine. That’s probably your best bet.

Though you probably wouldn’t want to cover the cylinder fins on an air cooled engine.
