modified epoxy vinyl ester?

Hi everyone
yesterday a supplier introduced me to a “modified epoxy vinyl ester” it is made by ashland called AME1001 . I was going to purchase some due to good pricing and 35 min gel time and low viscosity (150-200 cps) .
my question: is it epoxy or is it ve? reason I am asking is because I am trying to also find an in mold coating that is compatible with this resin.
any help is appreciated
Thank you

All vinyl esters contain an esterified epoxy resin. Is this a sales gimmick?

is me posting here a sales gimmick? I am sorry if it sounded like that but no i am not trying to sell anything here.
I just never heard of that kind of resin. well I am guessing it is just a regular VE resin then.

Sorry. I wasn’t imply that what you were doing was a sales gimmick but rather the manufacturer. VE is produced by the esterification of an epoxy resin with a monocarboxylic acid. I’d be curious to know the difference between their “modified” VE and their “regular” VE.

A" modified" ve resin is usually a ve resin blended with a polyester resin ,most often a dcpd . Remember that good price?
