Hello,
I have a metal part I want to have an aluminium mould made out of.
Its under 200mm cubed.
Does anyone out there recommend anyone that can do this?
I don’t have a 3D file, So one would need to be created or maybe it has to get 3D scanned?
Any help is appreciated, maybe someone out there can do this as a job.
Thanks
Hi Carboncactus
If you can email an image of the component or drawings to carbonfibreworks@aol.com i may be able to help out.
Regards Chris
PS i am in the UK
For 3d scanning and drawing you can contact Stuart Brown at http://3dengineers.co.uk/
Very friendly and very knowledgable. I am sure he has pleny of contact for milling the mould as well.

Anyone in the US offer a similar service? Have a composite part I want scanned then machined out of tooling board.
What kind of tolerances do these parts have? Does the tooling really need to be machined?
