LTM Prepreg mold

I’m making a mold using ACG’s LTM fiberglass. Should I use perforated or unperforated release film on the final bagging and cure?

I haven’t used it but a company we cook for uses it and they use unperforated release film.

The shop where I used to work used their glass/ltm prepreg. We made parts both ways, using perforated and unperforated release film. We typically used perforated, but making a mold I would probably use unperforated (we didn’t actually use the prepreg for our molds though, just stuck with wet lay up because it was cheaper to build up the amount of thickness we wanted for our molds)

really it depends on if your going to cook it in the clave or oven. oven use a perforated release film like p3 and a 4oz breather. if you going in the autoclave then you need to use solid fep release film that needs to be taped down and sealed to the mold, place glass strings ever 12 inches on the tool and let them stick out from under the tape so they touch the breather. then cover with a 10 oz breather. so which system are you using ltm10-12 or the 16?
