looking for a good deal on a vacuum pump

im looking for a decent 6cfm pump thats used but not overly used…just looking for a pretty good deal

There’s an older Robinair on e-Bay that’s hovering at $49 w/no bids. Item #220167194738 Don’t know how many CFM it is. Does it have to be six CFM? That’s pretty big for infusing small parts. I’ve got a 5 CFM and it’ll be good ‘nuff to infuse the entire hull of a 31’ boat!

5cfm would do just fine… there is a pawn shop that has a yellowjacket pump thats 6cfm for $100 im just iffy about the idea because it looks like its been used quite alot

I think I paid the same for my 15500 as this one e-Bay # 120179500445

I did get screwed by FedEx on the brokerage charges getting it into Canada. Long story.

If you can afford it I’d recommend going for a new pump w/warranty.

thats prolly the route ill go…hey i mailed your tape out this morning

Thnx. Won’t need it for awhile so it’s goin’ in the fridge!

well like the other guy said…this tape is WAY!!! sticky…i bet you end up throwing your other tape in the freezer and using this stuff :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: and the price is so cheap that you can afford to use it as often as you want :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: 10 cents cheaper and double the tape than fiberglasssupply.com im working to get alot of strechlon200 bagging film and ill sell it on here also at a discounted price

Just throw it outside at this time of the year…

Yup yer right there Werks. Snow predicted for tonight! brrrrrrrr That means soon be time to tinker with some more infusion projects. racedout buddy I’d like to try some of that stretchelon stuff, put me down for 5 yrds. When I get around to building the boat I’ll need hmmmm? 250 yds!!!

well im in the works of getting a wholesale account setup with a company here in ftworth, tx if i get that ill be sharing the discounts for everyone like i do with the bagging tape

…if Fastrr would go to the surplus shop I told him about in his town, he could sell others on here vacuum pumps, gauges and other items.

where is the shop and whats it called? ill have him ride his fastass up there and get me a decent pump

For anyone that goes to Phoenix, AZ., have an extra day (takes me a day to go thru there) and lots of cash (I spend easily $400 per trip there):

Apache Reclamation and Electronics Inc.
313 W. Apache St.
Phoenix, Az. 85003

(602) 254-0613

They allow you to go into the back room (massive) and even into the back yard!

But test everything, ask questions on how it wires up before buying surplus items as they are non returnable in most stores.

Maybe this winter (lot’s planned for on here when my business slows…) I’ll start a thread on listing surplus stores as I have a bunch that I go to and maybe others will add theirs too!

thank you, ill see if he wants to run up there and take a peek for me

Here racedout, it doesn’t get any cheaper than this…

im looking to pull 29hg of vacuum

but you know whats funny is i have a freon compressor in my garage…HUGE i think out of a 2ton+ ac system…it stands about 2 feet tall and 9 inches in diameter…its just a tall cylinder, but i think it runs off 220v

“fat ass”? Why I otta…

I found it on my Phoenix map. Once i get my bike fixed i’ll go there. It’s all freeway there… about 15 miles from where i live.
