Little tip on Kevlar cutters...

As I couldn’t find any other suitable shears anywhere, I was forced to take a piece of Kevlar to Home Despot and start trying random tools to see what could cut it in it’s raw form. Lo and Behold, these little things did the trick right off the rack!

They’re sub-$20 here in Canada, and so far I’ve put them through cutting about 10 yards of cutting, with not a sign of them dulling or losing their amazing-ness. The very fine texture on the cutting surface of the blades seems to help prevent fraying while handling the cloth, too. The long cutting surface on these is great, and they’re comfortable to use and hold.

snips do work well. Fiskars also makes a pair of orange handled serrated scissors available at HD that work well also.

They don’t see to carry those in Canada, at least at the HD I went to…and HD seems to be very consistent from store to store.

Hahahaha…I use those exact scissors…13 bucks a set and Im still using the firt pair I bought for all my rough cutting…
