Leaving the spiral tubing in the laminate?

I’m working on an infusion that I want a nice round edge instead of just a cut off waiting for trim. If I laid the spiral feed in that groove and just covered it in the laminate (I’m using cored glass so flow isn’t a problem), when the infusion is over the spiral will be encapsulated in glass. I’m thinking as long as I turn the resin off early it’ll pretty much be cleared of any resin inside and just be an abandoned hollow passage. What do ya’s think?

If your product allows it, why not? In the past, people would use newspapers (rolled) as a core for reinforcement. You can look at this as a high tech news paper roll.

inlet side better not be hollow…that means you let air into your part, and air in your part is bad, mmkay?
Vent side though, could be hollow. As long as the fabric wrapping the tube is filled.
Watch out, it’s PP, so don’t expect spiral to act as anything, except a way to hold the fabric in place.
