Kevlar and color deterioration?

Is it true that upon sun light exposure the color of yellow/natural kevlar will deteriorate? I recall reading that shortly after sun exposure the color starts turning to a brownish. Anyone have any experience with this or some insight?

In particular anyone have experience with the red carbon /kevlar and color loss? I am interested in an application of the red carbon kevlar material for a cosmetic purpose but don’t want it looking like crap shortly after.

Yes, so keep it out of direct sunlight!

it works will all kevlar

Is there anything that can be added to the resin to protect the color?

It would seem like once the Kevlar is resin wet out, cured and the use of a UV top coat, it shouldn’t change colors at all?

it doesn’t, just in its fabric form will it fade

Cool thanks guys.
