Here’s the new creation my friend . The KAWASAKI Z-1000:
Nice work Geroge!
Many many thxs:)
is that an overlay george? I see the bungs that snap into the frame and Im curious as to how you did that, it looks fantastic.
No is full carbon product. Now when u say “bungs that snap into the fram” u mean the undertray?
no George I mean the “studs” that push into the rubber grommets on the sides of the subframe rails.
Im curious how you pulled that one off.
You mean this:
I see no picture george…
it’s ok now?
no sir…just look at the spikes or studs at the front of the tail section. They are the ones you push into the subframe to hold it still by the front seat and the main mountings for the entire tail section.
George, I see the pic, and yes that is what Hybrid is talking about.
aaa ok,
those pins let’s say I make it to the lathe. The materiAL is Teflon. You can do that very easy and stick on it with very strong two ingredient glue.
Stunning work George as usual. What clear gel do you use on your parts.
The geat coat is Polyester Gelcoat. But the quality of varnish coming from the mold.
interesting…I was hoping to avoid “glueing” parts in but I guess I will have to do what ever comes necessary.
Great looking parts, I hope Im as luck on my tail section Im about to do.
Ive been so busy with this build that Ive not done a lot of composite work lately. Turbo bike fabrication can sometimes absorb some time from me…
oh and RC…know where I can find a RC51 SP2 front wheel? Just needs to be straight and true…no other parts needed.
hey are you an RC51 rider aswell?
