Just thought i would stop by and say hi, i’ve been looking for a composite forum some time now and stumbled across this. this is alot better than the fibreglast.com forum up on there site.

I have been in the compostite industry just shy of 7 years now, my experience is mainly in prepreg tooling, but i also have done protyping, production parts, support structures, etc.

I will also be posting up things in the for sale forum for time to time, mainly small amounts of carbon and fiber glass that i happen to have from time to time.

i don’t work with hexcel’s material, i pefer to work for advanced composites material, plus there local so i dont have to deal with shipping. i normally don’t have any extra laying around, the stuff is expensive enough so i try not to have to much scrap left over.

Another advantage to the ACG stuff, the LTM series of prepregs goes off at lowere temps than a lot of peoples pregs. Good stuff and easy to work.
