Made with scrap CF and Silmar 249…

Took apart an old, broken headset and made a mold of the two pieces (they just clip together). Then I prepped the mold, spread out a little resin and let it cure until it was slightly past tacky, then laid out one layer of CF and did 5 coats of Silmar. Took about 4 hours (total work time about 45 minutes) not counting the time it took to make the mold, from mold prep to sliding it over the headset and being awesome.
Pretty much everyone at work under the age of 35 wants one. I might make them as going away gifts…
