Is $270 a good price for a 28x24x14" deep CF box without top and bottom?

Is $270 a good price for a 28x24x14" deep CF case/box without top and bottom? It sounded good to me, but I’ve emailed 3or 4 places and only one got back to me.

similar to above photo for holding electronics but the walls will be smooth and not have all those peaks and valleys

I do not know wall thickness, but they quoted 6 poudns
this company makes hundreds of these cases so I’m sure they will make it strong/thick enough.
The more I look at start up equipment costs it seems like farming it out might be better.

They quoted me $213 for the same case in fiberglass.

That looks like a pretty good price to me. I’m not familiar with carbon fiber construction but just comparing prices of existing shock mounted racks that certainly doesn’t sound unreasonable. I would check to see if it is carbon fiber wrapped on some other material (fiberglass, wood etc…) or if it is 100% carbon fiber. If it’s a single layer of carbon fiber wrapped on something’ else, I’d say it’s not a good buy at $270. What company makes this? I might be interested myself. Thanks.
