Hello all,
I am looking to do a carbon fiber overlay of my stock intake plenum in an effort to keep it from blowing out at the seams due to boost (14-16psi). A lot of people are saying just to buy a new intake but I have yet to find one designed with the same flow characteristics as the OEM.
So far, I am contemplating using 2x2 twill and resin infusion. I have attached pics of the plenum and would like to get some opinions in regards to the complexity of a job like this. Will 2x2 twill work or do I need fabric that’s a bit more pliable?
