I have just done first infusion, using easy composite connectors, there is a leak some where but for the life off me i couldn’t find it,left pump on,just checked part and there is a big leak on connectors, does any one use these silicone connectors, and has anyone had problems,I think going through bag with hose and tee off into spirals might be a better and less problematic solution,my wet lay ups are fine but thought I would experiment to see different process.many thanks guys.
Use them regulary and always pull 29hg always. Just be patient and keep searching and ading vac bag tape
Cheers, chasing these leaks is a night mare,my pump always pulls 30hg I think certain application infusion would not be suitable, some off my mold are complicated in shape, and the wet lay up seem’s better.Cheers.
Can i see your tooling
For some reason I can not upload photos,if I can have your email I can send to you,my photos.cheers.
try some vac bag tape around the hose/connector. It seems to work well for me. I use a polyethelene T connector. Buy them from the hardware/home store in the sprinkler isle, good, cheap and work well.
Try to get rid of them by leading your vac and resin lines out of the bag through the side, in pleats.
Looking at photos through the bag, then spur T connectors, into spiral seems to be a better way to go.rather than through the top, using easy composite silicone ones, any advice techniques welcome,
