Infusion panel question

Hi, I have a question about infuse a panel and if use infusion mesh .

At the time of you infuse a panel, resin in the mold side flows worse, the resin flow is much smaller, then, Is it good use infusion mesh on top skin?.
This will make exists more difference between top resin flow and mold skin side, when ideally would be that flow top and down be equal.

Specifically I’m trying to make a 80kg/m3 10mm panel with a triaxial glass layer 917G / m² and 2x105g / m² plain in the top and lower skin.

Then, Do I use infusion mesh on top skin?, also I think that my infusion mesh is high flow.

Regards and thank

OK, you are infusing a sandwich panel.

In that case make sure you increase the resin flow on the bottom part. This can be done by adding grooves to the foam, or even press chicken wire into the foam, you can add a layer of CFM on the bottom laminate, or if the part does not need to have a smooth surface, you can even do a double sided infusion, using mesh on bottom and top surface.

Also perforate your foam, so the resin fronts can equalise.

Ok, thanks, double sided infusion, using mesh on bottom and top can be a good option, but in this case, maybe it could modify the original shape too, the my mesh seems pretty thick and she does not seem too compressed at the time of
apply vacuum. Also I would like to get a shiny surface.
However is an interesting technique, problablemete I apply this in the future.

Prespecto layer of CFM, currently I haven’t any :(, Do you really helps both the flow?

You could add an extra layer of 105g / m² plain, also make holes in the foam. ( 1mm of diameter every 3 cm, Could work?)

Then, In this case, Should I use infusion mesh on top skin?

And, How should I put the layers on the bottom, to maximize flow?
