It would really be great if I could honestly say I have a Masters Degree in Engineering and am the head of R&D in Composites for Ferrari. I finished school in the group that made the upper half possible.

BSBA in Business Management from University of Missouri 1991
Department of Economic Development, Incentive Specialist

My interest in Carbon Composites stems from hobbies that include Cycling and Car Racing. Very little current experience unless you count fiberglass, then I have a little. The materials have so many possible applications, I would like to get some hands-on experience and possibly guide my career in this direction. Not looking for a job exactly, this is an interest I would like to explore.

Welcome “Show-me-state’er”.

Take a look around and do a ton of back-reading on the threads…get used to some of the terminology so its easier to keep up with conversations and references.
Its a ton of reading…but it was a lot more typing for those of you to read,lol.

Check out the, “Tricks of The Trade” post in the, “Composites Talk” section. You’ll find lots of useful knowledge :). I also do believe that there is a thread running around here regarding terminology.
