IEpoxy.com

Hi,

I dont know if this is the right place to post this, but Id like to spred the word out about our new website. We manufacture high quality epoxy resins for all sorts of applications. Our customers allways comeback to us and say that they are very pleased to have our prodcuts in their projects, and that we have the best prices they have seen around.

Thanks!

Pretty good options it seems. Pricing seems decent.
But do you have anything below 500cps that will withstand 200*F or more?
EH-29/EH-06 seems like it might work, and I may give it a try. But this would be for infusion, so looking for the thinnest stuff possible.

Ditto what TET said. I need an ULV epoxy with ultra long working time (2-4 hrs) for infusing a boat hull (approx 200 sq yds at a time). Quantities that I’d need to buy are min. 15 gal kits.

How low of a viscosity do you want? Is color important and can you post cure? We have many hi-temp. systems formulated and need a few more requirements to recommend a specific system.

Color doesn’t matter at all, and viscosity can’t be too low for my use.
Autoclaves and ovens are available, so post curing isn’t a problem. But looking for out-of-autoclave solutions. Just need something that will take 200-250*F and be thin enough to infuse.

This is what I’ve been using so far. It’s not bad but I’d like a lil’ bit more working time if possible. Most boatbuilders I know of can get tent temps in to the 130 deg F range but not much more.

Thank you for joining us on here!

Our ER-48 Epoxy resin is an ultra low viscosity,(250 CPS) Cycloaliphatic blended resin. High use temperature to 350 f.can be achived, depending on hardener selection. If you are only looking for 200 HDT, only modest post cure temperature are required with our EH-18 hardener. This hardener includes MPDA which is a staining hardener. If this is a problem we have a higher property cycloaliphatic hardener that is non-staining.If you are interested I would suggest you try a small kit first. Thank you iepoxy

What does this mean iepoxy? The surface will eventually be painted so discoloration isn’t a deal breaker. I may just take you up on the small sample soon. How do these epoxies you mentioned stack up to the specs I posted earlier?

Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge with us.

iepoxy is our internet site for marketing epoxy systems in small quanties to mostly home builders. The parent company is Polydyne inc. an Epoxy formulator for over 35 years origionaly founded in Detroit MI to provide tooling epoxies to the auto industry. We offer a full line of Epoxy and Polyurethane systems.

Then maybe you know Dougie from 3G as he was reg. member on here in the early days.

Let me add to this… I would like the same with no oven cure and tg of 200F or more.

You have tooling epoxies?!? As in for making frp molds? Are they oven cure or room temp cure? You have a surface coat epoxy for tooling? What are the prices?

Nope, have not heard of him:).

Sorry for responding to this post after months, but yes we have tooling epoxies. I’m not sure if this is what you were talking about, but we have our ER-25/EH-05 Epoxy/aluminium tooling system. We offer on our site a 1 1/4 Gallon kit for $75, and a 5 Gallon kit for $250. Of coarse…we offer larger quantity’s upon request. I would have to check with my boss to see if we have anymore systems matching your needs. I am just the webmaster for our website, I had givin the account password to our chemist, (which was the person you were talking to on the same account before this post). If your still interested, or have any further questions, please use our “contact us” form on our website. You will get a direct response from our materials chemist as soon as possible.
