Hey guys, I make airtubes that are weird shapes and i usually do it joining 2 pieces together. I know there are ways to make it just using a ballon type feature. But how to get the ballon to open up to all corners. Well, WHAT IF there was a way to create a silicon male mold with the 2 piece mold closed, pour the silicon in. dry, then open the molds. you have a positive male silicone mold. Now, the hard part would be to cut most of the core out from the middle of the silicone. enough so when you put the 2 halves together after laying it up, closing it. clamp, then put the silicone mold inside carefully, and then in the core of of the silicone, put a very strong ballone and inflating it. i know there are better ways, but would it be easy? anyone want to experiment? =)
